Tracking Unit

The NEON Tracking Unit is a waist worn sensor accessory that supports collection and processing of sensor data to deliver TRX NEON 3D indoor location. The small wearable NEON® Tracking Unit produces the initial estimate of movement in a local frame. The multi-purpose tracking unit detects and identifies bulidng characteristics and features (e.g., stairwells, elevators) and creates inertial path within a building. These multi-purpose units can be configured as either a tracking or anchor units with capability to support BLE and UWB ranging.

Connected to your Android device, NEON implements a suite of patented sensor fusion, ranging and dynamic mapping algorithms which intelligently correlate information from a broad range of sensors in the tracking unit. The tracking units include temperature compensated gyroscopes, accelerometers, magnetic field sensors, and a barometric pressure sensor.

Note: End users must only use the USB charger supllied with the equipment.
