A NEON account is required to log in to the website to download software, and required to log in to the software as well. A NEON subscription is a group of NEON accounts and cloud storage, which is only shared with those accounts. The benefit of a NEON subscription is that many users can share the same map data and view user locations that are logged in to different accounts. The advantage of using different NEON accounts within a subscription is that there are role-based permissions that can be enabled for more advanced users.
